THIS IS WHO WE ARE

We offer a life changing trip Africa to young adults between the ages of 18-26, and in doing so, connecting the African past with its future. Our intention is to establish a concrete link between people of African descent and the continent of Africa. By providing an opportunity to visit, explore and connect with their African heritage, we seek to reinforce the identity of the collective peoples on both sides of the oceans.

Our vision reaches past the immediate and long-term benefits of an enhanced cultural identity. Our vision reaches into the future, where the participants of our program on both sides of the ocean will be provided with a platform that encourages and allows them to continue to share intellectual capital, support one another, grow together, and build collectively both here and abroad.

Mia Woezor intends to involve its participants in projects that foster the development of a collective mindset, one that our members can rely on for motivation, support and cooperation. As our participants grow, so will the scope of what they can accomplish together.

Mia Woezor Africa is an educational heritage travel program whose mission is to provide young people of African descent with direct exposure to the African continent and its communities.

Our vision is of a living, breathing bond that will sustain an ongoing conversation between continents, allowing for the continuing exchange of ideas, and resulting in the creation of an evolving network that can fuel the growth of new educational, business and social development initiatives.
